I'm ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) ninamalfoy, but also go by Neens or Nina or 'that Metzelly fangirl'. I'm a 20-something German psychology student with minoring in Sign Language (which is actually cheating, seeing as I'm deaf myself).
I love being with my closest friends, boozing and chatting and laughing and generally being silly until the early morning hours. But it's also possible to engage me in serious discussion. Just try it! I've also perfected being a recluse - I'm a woman of many opposites, but I never can hide my sense of humor and my incorrigible goodwill towards most people. *winks*
Other hobbies would be reading, knitting, rambling, watching movies (preferably with gay content) and trying to get some exercise. Oh, and slashing. Yes. The main reason why I have this LJ. I'm also a beta reader and have beta-ed for several people in the Harry Potter fandom and also in the footballslash fandom.

As to the flocked and filtered entries: some of my (more embarrassing or private) RL stuff is flocked, and anything to do with football in an even remotely slashy way is filtered in a special footie filter. I've set it up like that because upon a time I had only a few footie fans on my flist and wanted to spare the others the pain of my gushings and ramblings and rants about the beautiful game and its slashy participants, and also because my family and friends know about this LJ. They do think that I'm certifiably mad, but I don't really want them to know the real extent of my madness, thank you very much.

All my fics can be found at owls_in_winter, which is a public journal. You don't have to ask my permission to read the fics there, nor do you need to friend it. I might post unbeta-ed drabbles, ficlets and the likes on my personal LJ here first, but these are and will be almost always flocked or filtered - until I transfer them to owls_in_winter. If you absolutely can't live without an occasional fix of my writing skills (very doubtful, though), feel free to follow my friending policy. *points upward*
My fics aren't only about the beautiful game, to be fair. They also include a bit of Harry Potter, two very obscure German fandoms - NaPolA (Before the Fall) and Sommersturm (Summer Storm) - and lots of miscellanous fics. A few are even in German!
Anything else? There's my icons webpage that I update only very rarely, but still worth checking out, I hope: Iconage! Contains footballslash (duh) icons, movie icons, actor icons, gay themed icons, funny icons, fandom-ish icons, ... ehm. A lot of icons, yes. :-)

Other than sharing the obvious (slashy) football love and fannishness, I'm also ranting a lot about my life as a deaf German student in Northern Germany, pimping gay-themed movies with a fervent passion, doing memes and/or challenges and, well, procrastinating a lot. Also, writer blocks and bursts of inspiration are often a topic in my LJ, seeing as I'm most known for my fics in the footballslash fandom.
Last but not least: I don't bite. I am opinionated, but I'm reasonable enough to not be too stubborn. I think I can be funny - from time to time. *grins*
